The name TerraSpectrum refers to the colors of light reflected by Earth, while also symbolizing the range of conditions and factors that support the conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of our environment.

 

At TerraSpectrum AG, we integrate advanced technologies such as hyperspectral imaging, bioacoustic monitoring, and environmental DNA (eDNA) with AI analytics to accurately measure ecosystem properties, including carbon and biodiversity. We are a multidisciplinary team with decades of experience in science-based ecosystem monitoring, urban sustainable planning, mathematics, and business development.

 

TerraSpectrum was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Sustainability has long been an integral part of Swiss society. The five Ps of the Sustainable Development Goals — People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership — align closely with Switzerland’s values and governance framework. Geneva is already recognized as a global hub for environmental and sustainable governance, hosting numerous international organizations and NGOs.
